Events Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsoring events through the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce gives your business terrific exposure in the community. Your support of Chamber activities says that you are a promoter of the business community and an active participant in the Chamber’s mission. From leadership to public policy, networking to business training…there’s sure to be a perfect fit for your organization’s goals and objectives!
- Annual Awards Dinner – Our premier event, the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner begins with a review of the past year’s accomplishments, followed by recognition of the Chamber’s Business and Business Person of the Year and a host of other community awards (all selected by the membership). This is an opportunity for the Chamber to honor outstanding individuals and organizations who have dedicated their time and resources to the Chamber and our community. This event will be held in November. Sponsorships range from Title Sponsor ($2,000) to Table Sponsors ($100).

- Yamhill County Career & College Expo – We bring together high schoolers from all over Yamhill County for a morning filled with a keynote speaker, career breakout sessions, mock interviews and a business/college trade show. The afternoon features a Job Fair open to the public and includes educational workshops for job seekers. - Turkey Rama – Yamhill County’s largest summer festival, Turkey Rama offers something for everyone…from music entertainment to a community sock hop. The 50-year Chamber tradition would not be complete without the Biggest Turkey Contest and Saturday’s Famous Turkey BBQ (grilling over 5 tons of turkey!) Major sponsors share in the advertising for this signature event. Business sponsorships are also available.
2013 Sponsorship Opportunities - Better Business in 60 Minutes – The Chamber’s monthly educational program, Better Business in 60 Minutes offers a new topic each month that will help members run a better business. An interactive, informative, and hands-on approach creates a fun learning environment—and a great networking event. Sponsorship ($100 each) includes inclusion in all promotion of the event, and an opportunity to speak and distribute materials at the breakfast event. - Hot Topics Luncheon – Hot Topics Luncheons are scheduled throughout the year as a way to educate the business community on issues of impact. Sponsorship ($150 each / $200-State of the City) includes inclusion in all promotion of the event and an opportunity to speak and distribute materials at the luncheon. - Membership Orientation Breakfast – The Chamber’s quarterly Membership Orientation Breakfast is targeted to new members, but is open to all members who want to learn more about what the Chamber has to offer. This breakfast takes place a couple of times a year. Sponsorship ($1000/year—sold for 2012) includes inclusion in all promotion of the event, logo on event agenda, and an opportunity to speak and distribute materials at the breakfast. - Leadership MAC – For nearly 25 years, the Chamber’s leadership program has been preparing business people to successfully meet the challenges facing our community. When participants who complete the program return to the workplace they enrich their organizations with a comprehensive understanding of the community and newly developed leadership skills. As a Scholarship Sponsor ($550), your business will provide a fully paid tuition to a staff member of a local nonprofit. - Relocation/Visitor Packets – The Chamber mails around 500 relocation and visitor packets each year. - Prize Donations – Prize donations are a great way to get your product and/or service in front of the Chamber membership for special events and membership incentives. Prizes are accepted year-round.
